SEN Teaching Assistant - ADHD Support in Specialist Provisions

We are seeking a committed and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to support students with ADHD across a range of specialist provisions within primary and secondary schools in Lambeth, starting September 2025. This opportunity is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping young people thrive in supportive and structured environments.

Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Primary and Secondary Provisions, Lambeth
Start Date: September 2025

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide focused one-to-one and group support for students with ADHD, helping them stay engaged and achieve their learning goals.

  • Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and specialist staff to implement individual support plans.

  • Promote positive behaviour strategies and emotional regulation techniques tailored to ADHD needs.

  • Support pupils' development of attention, organisation, and social interaction skills.

  • Assist with transitions, break times, and participation in enrichment activities.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience working with children or young people with ADHD or similar behavioural needs.

  • A calm, patient, and adaptable approach to classroom support.

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work well within a team.

  • Any relevant SEN training or qualifications would be a bonus.
