Job Title: EMS Site Audit Lead

Location: Berkshire/Buckinghamshire/Oxfordshire/Wiltshire

Salary: up to £55,000 plus pension scheme and health benefits

HSE Recruitment Network is recruiting for an EMS Site Audit Lead to work for the UK's largest water company, focusing on operational compliance with the EMS and permits.

The role involves developing a site permit compliance audit programme and supporting operational teams to understand EMS and permit requirements.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Develop and establish a compliance audit program, including designing audit templates, forms, tracking tools, and reporting systems.
  • Oversee the implementation of the audit program by conducting audits and managing a team of auditors.
  • Detect and resolve non-compliance issues, monitoring corrective actions through the EMS.
  • Prepare and present updates to stakeholders on findings, risks, and concerns.
  • Manage site compliance records via the Compliance Assessment System.
  • Supervise a team of site auditors to ensure effective delivery of the audit program.
  • Create procedures for environmental risk assessments, ensuring alignment with legal requirements.
Work Arrangement:
  • Hybrid, 3 days per week office/site-based
  • Regular on-site presence required for project activities
  • 36-hour work week, Monday - Friday
  • Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle are essential
