Qualifications

• Patience, supportiveness and respect for people’s choices.
• Strong communication to build trusting relationships.
• Willingness to learn and work towards a Health and Social Care qualification.
• Experience in social care is welcome but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Empower independence, choice and dignity in daily living.
• Encourage participation in social, leisure, work and community activities.
• Promote health, safety and wellbeing while respecting decisions.
• Support attendance at health appointments and med management.
• Build independence and confidence step by step.
• Follow safeguarding practices and keep accurate records.
