Job summary

The YOU Trust is recruiting a Female Family Safeguarding DVA Worker to join the PARAGON team in Taunton. The role supports adults, families and vulnerable individuals affected by domestic abuse, delivering practical and emotional help, risk assessments and personalised plans.

You will collaborate with partner agencies to ensure coordinated care, maintain confidential records and advocate for clients to improve safety and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults, families or vulnerable people, ideally within safeguarding or domestic abuse.
• Strong safeguarding knowledge and commitment to safety of adults and children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for client and partner relationships.
• Ability to manage a varied caseload, prioritise and maintain confidential records.

Responsibilities

• Empower individuals and families affected by domestic abuse to improve safety and outcomes.
• Undertake risk and needs assessments and develop personalised support plans.
• Collaborate with partner agencies, statutory services and community organisations for coordinated support.
• Maintain accurate, confidential records and advocate for clients when needed.
