Job summary

West Moors Middle School in Dorset is inviting applications for a Teaching Assistant to support pupils and contribute to a positive learning environment. You will build relationships, provide in-class and one-to-one assistance, and engage in training and development to support pupils' progress.

The role is term-time only, 32.5 hours per week across 38 weeks a year, with salary £18,915–£19,216 per annum and a focus on helping children reach their potential in a friendly school setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to establish productive relationships with pupils and support individual needs.
• Experience in providing pastoral support and positive role modeling.
• Desire to develop professional skills and contribute to pupil learning.
• Commitment to pupil learning in and outside of the classroom.
• Experience with phonics/early reading is desirable.
