Dinardos is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Catford to empower residents with complex mental health needs. You will provide practical and emotional support, promote independence, and ensure dignity and respect at all times.

You will work with positive risk taking, create SMART plans, and accompany residents to appointments and activities in the community. Ideal candidates communicate clearly, work well alone or in a team, show empathy for residents who have faced adversity, and maintain

Qualificações

• Clear verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work on own initiative and in a team.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a comprehensive support service using a strengths-based approach to practical and emotional needs.
• Support residents to develop and rediscover social skills.
• Help residents develop activities to encourage daily living skills.
• Assist residents with general financial management.
• Support residents to identify mental health needs and comply with prescribed medications.
• Support residents’ physical health and wellbeing.
• Maintain up-to-date written and electronic resident records and report incidents.
• Create SMART support plans and risk assessments.
