Job summary

Restore is seeking an Employment and Recovery Coach to support individuals with mental health challenges in Oxfordshire. You will help clients set goals, overcome barriers and explore recovery pathways, including employment and vocational activities.

The role involves delivering one-to-one sessions, creating CVs, job searches and interview preparation, while working within a supportive, inclusive team that values dignity and empowerment.

Qualifications

  • Experience delivering one-to-one support using a person-centred, recovery-oriented approach.
  • Ability to plan, prioritise and organise work flexibly and efficiently.
  • Strong written, verbal and motivational communication skills.
  • IT literacy including Word, email and data input.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver a quality, person-centred, goal-focused programme as part of a team with recovery workers and coaching colleagues.
  • Provide one-to-one sessions using the GROW model.
  • Assist people to improve employability: create CVs, search for jobs, make applications and prepare for interviews.
  • Support individuals whose jobs may be at risk to retain employment.
  • Foster collaboration with other employment agencies.
  • Co-design goals and recovery plans with individuals, families and community networks.
  • Ensure practice is safe, trauma-informed and respectful of dignity, empowerment and confidentiality.
