Job summary

UKCIL Ltd. is seeking a Positive Role Model & Support Worker to assist an 18-year-old in Ashington. You will help him enjoy social and leisure activities in the local community, build confidence and independence, and maintain safety with supportive guidance.

The role involves 6 hours per week at £14.67 per hour, with shifts typically after college, on weekends, or split across sessions. Experience with autism/ADHD is desirable and safeguarding knowledge is important.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting young people with autism, ADHD or learning disabilities is desirable.
• Kind, patient, reliable and trustworthy.
• A good communicator with a positive attitude.
• Understanding of safeguarding responsibilities.
• Able to support independence while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Someone who can provide companionship and positive encouragement.
