Teaching Vacancies is seeking dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our team. You will support pupils and teaching staff to create a safe, engaging learning environment and help deliver inclusive lessons.

Ideal candidates will have experience with children, an interest in SEMH support, and strong communication and teamwork skills, with patience and a proactive attitude toward pupil wellbeing and learning.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children or young people.
• Interest in supporting pupils with SEMH needs.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Patience, resilience and ability to stay calm in challenging situations.
• Positive and proactive attitude toward supporting learning and wellbeing.

Responsabilités

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and inclusive lessons.
• Work with individual pupils or small groups to support learning and engagement.
• Assist in implementing behaviour strategies to support pupils’ social, emotional and behavioural needs.
• Help create and maintain a safe, structured and positive learning environment.
• Contribute to monitoring pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and staff.
