Job summary

Aspris is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support students with Additional Learning Needs at Talocher School. You will help learners succeed academically and socially, build confidence, and support routines in a warm, flexible environment.

The role requires patience, enthusiasm, and strong relationship-building with pupils and staff. A full UK driving licence is helpful for off-site activities; training and progression opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) is advantageous.
• Patience, empathy and clear communication with pupils and staff.

Responsibilities

• Supporting in the classroom to nurture engagement and progress.
• Enabling activities outside of lessons aligned to students' interests and strengths.
• Building positive relationships to promote confidence and a love of learning through practical, active experiences.
