Job summary

Vida Education is seeking Teaching Assistants to support pupils in classrooms across Lancashire and Cumbria.

You will help deliver lessons, prepare materials, manage behaviour, and work with students one-to-one or in small groups.

Applicants should have a Level 2 TA qualification or at least one year of TA experience, hold an Enhanced DBS with Update Service or be willing to apply, and provide recent references.

Qualifications

• Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or 1 year TA experience.
• Confident classroom communicator and motivator.
• Able to provide recent references.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service, or willingness to apply (costs apply).

Responsibilities

• Support the teacher with the delivery of the lesson.
• Prepare the classroom for lessons, such as setting up equipment.
• Manage behaviour and engage students with their own learning.
• Work with students either one to one or in small groups out of the classroom.
• Commit to support both the teacher and the students to succeed.
