Job summary

Cartrefi Cymru Co-operative in Llandrindod Wells is seeking a dedicated Support Worker to help create a new service and support people with learning disabilities to live fulfilling lives.

You will work across days, evenings, weekends with a permanent contract and flexible hours from 16 to 40 per week. Sleep-in shifts and travel reimbursements apply, with full training provided for those new to the role.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training provided.
• Ability to support intimate personal care with respect and dignity.
• Good written skills and ability to record events with empathy.
• Eligible to drive and transport clients to activities.

Responsibilities

• Actively support individuals in making their own choices and set their own goals.
• Empower people to follow through on choices and participate in structured activities.
• Provide practical support to help with paying bills, maintaining homes, and staying connected with friends and family.
• Help individuals with everyday decisions and promote wellbeing and independence.
