Job summary

Cygnet Victoria House is a 26-bed mental health inpatient service for men, part of Cygnet Health Care. We are seeking a confident Support Worker to join our team and deliver outstanding care across 42 hours per week, with day and night shifts.

You will contribute to a safe, supportive environment for men experiencing an acute mental health episode. The role involves helping people grow their skills, providing physical and emotional support, and reporting welfare needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communicator and good team player.
• Genuine drive to make a real difference in peoples lives.
• DBS check required before appointment.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance and encouragement through physical and emotional support.
• Learn about individuals needs and provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical and welfare needs.
• Report on medical and welfare needs as required.
• Safeguard.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment for all.
