Job summary

CareTech is recruiting Support Workers to join Cragside House in Cheltenham. This permanent, full-time role is 37.5 hours per week on a rota basis, with shifts including days and evenings and bank holidays. DBS is required and will be paid for by CareTech.

Qualifications

• Ability to work days, evenings, alternative weekends and bank holidays.
• Enhanced DBS required (paid for by CareTech).
• Experience of supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities and Complex Needs.
• Good communication and written skills.

Responsibilities

• Building positive, trusting relationships with people we support.
• Supporting people with daily living and personal goals.
• Encouraging independence and choice.
• Deliver person-centred support in line with individual support plans.
• Assist with daily living skills and personal care where required.
• Maintain accurate records and work effectively as part of a team.
