Job summary

Partners in Support in Berkhamsted is seeking a flexible Support Worker to help adults with learning disabilities and autism live life their way. You’ll provide emotional and practical support, building confidence, independence and community participation.

No prior social care experience is required as full training is provided, and you’ll benefit from ongoing training, supervision and progression opportunities within a supportive team.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Confidence to remain calm in difficult situations
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, bank holidays, and sleep‑ins on a rota
  • Full UK manual driving licence preferred

Responsibilities

  • As a Support Worker, you’ll provide emotional and practical support to adults with learning disabilities and autism, helping them to live life their way.
  • You’ll support people to build confidence, develop independence, learn new skills, access their community by taking part in activities, and do the things that matter most to them.
  • No two days are the same, so if you enjoy variety and want a rewarding role where you can make a real difference, this could be the perfect opportunity.
