Job summary

JJR Care Ltd is seeking compassionate, reliable Support Workers to join our team across Basingstoke and Winchester, providing person-centred support to children and young people with disabilities in daily life, education and community activities.

The role requires experience with disabilities, a valid DBS Update Service check, excellent communication, and flexibility to work across Hampshire, with ongoing training and career development.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children with disabilities.
• DBS check on the Update Service.
• Compassionate, patient and reliable nature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work flexibly across the Hampshire region (Basingstoke and Winchester).

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to children and young people with disabilities.
• Assist with daily living activities, personal care, and emotional support.
• Support children in accessing community activities, education, and social opportunities.
• Work collaboratively with families, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate records and report any changes in the child's condition or behaviour.
