Job summary

Elwood Recruitment Ltd is recruiting Support Workers in Southgate to join residential services providing 24-hour care and support to adults with learning disabilities. You will help with daily living tasks, participate in activities, and promote a safe, enabling environment within the service.

The role offers flexible shift patterns, a chance to shape your own schedule, and weekly pay. Candidates should have 6 months care sector experience and a passion for helping vulnerable adults.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting adults with disabilities.
• Minimum 6 months experience within the UK care sector.
• Live in Southgate or surrounding areas.
• Passion for supporting vulnerable adults.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with shopping and having nice meals out.
• Doing arts and crafts.
• Attending day services.
• Music, sing along or discos.
• Reflexology.
• Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (finances, shopping, cooking & personal care).
