Job summary

Cygnet Trinity Lodge in Lockerbie is seeking a confident Support Worker to join our specialist residential service for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will provide enhanced care and support across day or night shifts, working full time 42 hours per week.

Starting salary £13.45–£13.75 per hour post probation, with overtime, pension schemes, and professional development. Benefits include discounts on shopping, travel and leisure, plus healthcare and financial benefits.

Qualifications

• DBS check (enhanced) required.
• Experience in care or support work preferred.
• Excellent communication and teamwork.
• Willingness to learn and adapt.

Responsibilities

• Offer enhanced care with a flexible learning approach for all the people in our care.
• Provide guidance & encouragement through physical & emotional support.
• Learn about individuals specific needs & provide help in the most appropriate way.
• Assist with medical & welfare needs.
• Report on medical & welfare needs as required.
