Job summary
Swanton Community Services in Sunderland is seeking Bank Support Workers to cover days, evenings, nights and weekends at Swanton's residential and outreach services. You will provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower people to live independently, following individual support plans and promoting dignity and choice.
Role requires completing records, DBS checks, and delivering person-centred care under Swanton’s PRIDE values.

- Provide practical assistance and emotional support to empower the people we support to achieve their goals and aspirations, respecting everyone’s individuality and enabling them to make appropriate choices to live the life they wish, in line with their individual support plans.
Responsibilities
- Enable people we support to live a full and happy life, to run their own home and take part in activities in the community.
- Promote health, well-being and beliefs in an inclusive way; facilitate social, educational or work activities such as visiting family, walks, shopping and recreational activities.
- Complete a range of records and documents as part of the role.
