United Response is seeking a dedicated Support Worker in Huntington York to empower individuals with learning disabilities and autism. You will help with daily routines, personal care, finances, medication, and attending appointments, while promoting independence and community participation.

Shifts include weekends, sleeps and waking nights in a 24/7 supported living setting. You’ll build relationships, adapt to varied tasks, and support meaningful activities.

Responsibilities

• Support people with daily living activities
• Assist with personal care, finances, appointments
• Encourage independence and participation in activities such as arts, gardening and baking
• Build trusting relationships with the people supported and respond to their needs with patience
