The Supply Register is recruiting a SEND Learning Support Worker on behalf of Newcastle College Group to support learners across Lewisham College, Southwark College and The Higher Education Centre.

We seek compassionate, adaptable individuals who can provide personalised assistance inside and outside the classroom, fostering independence and inclusive learning. Roles involve personal care where needed and collaboration with staff.

Qualifications

• SEND learning support role across colleges.
• Experience with learners who have additional needs is beneficial.
• Experience in FE/Higher Education settings is relevant.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with SEND.
• Assist learners to access learning across subjects.
• Promote independence and personal development.
• Support personal care where required.
• Build relationships with students and staff.
• Collaborate with teaching staff and support teams.
