Job summary

Teaching Personnel Ltd. is seeking dedicated SEN Teaching Assistants to support children with SEND across King's Lynn. The role offers flexible hours, with opportunities in a range of specialist settings and term-time schedules.

We welcome applicants with experience in SEMH and a patient, adaptable approach; DBS on Update Service or willingness to obtain one is required. Competitive pay and ongoing CPD opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children or young people with SEND/SEMH (professional or personal experience considered).
• Patient, nurturing and adaptable approach.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work independently and use initiative.
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND/SEMH.
• Assist with implementing personalised learning and support strategies.
• Promote positive behaviour and engagement in lessons.
• Support pupils' social, emotional and academic development.
• Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff.
