Job summary

All Faiths Children’s Academy are seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their team supporting class teachers in the teaching and welfare of pupils, promoting positive behaviour patterns, raising self-esteem and improving independent working in pupils to assist in their education and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children in an educational setting preferred.
• Ability to observe and monitor pupil progress and maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Deliver tailored support to pupils under the direction of the Classroom Teacher.
• Coach and support pupils' learning by supervising and assisting them in 1:1 sessions and small groups.
• Help pupils engage across a variety of learning activities and interventions.
• Work collaboratively with staff to ensure pupils have access to the resources they need to succeed.
• Support children with special educational needs on a 1:1 basis.
