Job summary

North East Combined Authority in Tees Valley is seeking two Family Group Conference Co-ordinators to facilitate group conferences, build strong connections with families, carers and professionals, and support difficult conversations using restorative and trauma-informed approaches.

The roles focus on empowering families to develop sustainable plans that keep people safe, connected and independent, with strong collaborative practice across the team and partners.

Qualifications

• Experience working with individuals and families in a support, community or social care setting.
• Excellent communication, facilitation and organisational skills.
• Ability to manage sensitive situations with confidence and professionalism.
• A commitment to empowering people and achieving positive outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate and facilitate Family Group Conferences.
• Build positive relationships with adults, families, carers, and professionals.
• Use restorative and trauma-informed approaches to support difficult conversations.
