Job summary

St Helens Borough Council is seeking a full-time Family Group Conference Facilitator to work within the FaST Service. The role involves creating a supportive environment for families to develop their own plan to reduce risk to children and keep families together.

You will collaborate with families and other agencies, maintain records, and contribute to assessments. The post may involve some home working with regular attendance at the St Helens office and travel across the area.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering services to children and/or families with complex needs.
• Good record-keeping skills and ability to construct coherent reports.
• Strong mediation/negotiation skills.
• Ability to work inclusively and non-discriminatory.
• Flexible, calm under pressure and adaptable to changing priorities.
