Qualifikationen

• High School diploma required with 48 semester hours or associates degree or Workkeys plus college courses or 96 contact hours.
• Experience driving large vehicles and transporting passengers preferred; may consider equivalent training/experience.

• Assists teacher with instruction and evaluating effectiveness.
• Monitors student behavior and helps maintain classroom discipline; records time out and in-class suspensions; assists with crisis prevention; restrains students as needed.
• Monitors safety and well-being of students; encourages independence.
• Assists students with learning; provides one-on-one help as needed.
• Operates the assigned school bus on routes and schedules.
• Obeys traffic laws and school bus regulations during operation.
• Performs post-trip inspection and checks for remaining students or irregularities.
• Maintains safety and standards for bus operations; assures quick evacuation if needed.
• Maintains discipline and enforces a progressive consequence plan.
• Secures the bus at end of route; inspects for damage; ensures all windows/doors are secured.
• Maintains positive relationships with parents/guardians and school staff.
• Performs other related tasks as required.
