Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated tutor to support vulnerable, disengaged pupils in Wigan. You will plan and deliver 1:1 tailored lessons to bridge KS3/KS4 gaps and boost engagement and attainment, either in pupils’ homes or in the community.

This part-time, ongoing role starts ASAP. Experience with SEND or disengaged learners is valuable; QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience is desirable. DBS check and two professional references are expected.

Qualifications

• QTS or equivalent or tutoring experience.
• UK classroom teaching experience preferred but not essential.
• Be creative, patient and willing to think outside of the box.
• Have experience working with SEND or disengaged pupils.

Responsabilités

• Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 lessons to bridge KS3/KS4 gaps.
• Deliver lessons in pupils' homes or in community settings.
