Summary

An exciting opportunity awaits a dynamic, motivated Lead Pharmacist ready to spearhead the development of pharmacy services within Rheumatology at RSCH. This pivotal role involves direct collaboration with Rheumatology Consultants and nurse specialists, making the post holder an integral part of the Rheumatology Multidisciplinary Team.

Key Responsibilities

Participate in outpatient clinics

Act as an independent prescriber

Conduct patient assessments

Take responsibility for prescribing DMARDs, biologics, and specialist medicines

Develop advanced clinical skills

Deliver enhanced level patient-centered care

Contribute to research and teaching

Qualifications and Experience

While this role is an excellent opportunity for an experienced clinical pharmacist to advance as an Advanced level practitioner, we also welcome applications from pharmacists with varied Rheumatology experience.
