Every day, our teams help people in businesses and communities to do what is right and achieve their goals.

Employment Tax is an important building block for any business. We support businesses and employees with a practical and pragmatic perspective—making their approach to expenses more efficient, training them on how to embed new rules such as IR35, proposing pragmatic solutions when compliance falls short, answering queries about rewards and tax benefits, and introducing or updating salary sacrifice employee benefit schemes.

Looking for an experienced Manager to join our successful and expanding national Employment Tax team with opportunities for growth. We offer full-time or flexible and hybrid working options.

A look into the role

As an experienced Manager within our Employment Tax team, you will:

  1. Advise our diverse client base on employment tax issues, including PAYE, NIC, expenses, benefits, and employment status (including IR35).
  2. Help employers achieve cost savings through effective pay and benefits structures.
  3. Manage Employment Tax compliance and mitigate risks related to year-end reporting, NMW, and holiday pay.
  4. Assist with Employment Tax reviews, including due diligence, healthchecks, SAO, or standalone projects.
  5. Contribute to the Employment Tax and Employer Solutions groups, working on various interesting projects.
  6. Enhance the reputation of the Employment Tax team and Grant Thornton through quality work.
