Job summary

PwC UK is recruiting a Senior Manager in Reward & Employment to advise national and global organisations on employment tax governance, risks and opportunities. You will combine technical tax advice, client relationship management and project delivery across PAYE, NIC, benefits and HMRC engagement.

You will play a key role in shaping pay governance, tax compliance and regulatory changes, while delivering commercially relevant solutions across a range of clients.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of employment-based tax legislation and governance issues.
• Familiarity with Construction Industry Scheme and pay governance.
• CTA/ACA or international equivalent qualification required.

Responsibilities

• Advise clients on PAYE and NIC matters, including payroll, benefits, and year-end reporting.
• Support HMRC investigations and compliance projects with effective liaison.
• Develop policies for expenses and benefits, and identify tax exposures in transactions.
• Consult on CIS, National Minimum/Living Wage, holiday pay, and IR35 implications.
