Job summary

ForHousing in Salford is seeking a Tenancy Resilience Officer to support tenants with employment skills and training, helping them sustain tenancies and improve life chances.

You will manage a caseload, assist with CVs, applications and interview preparation, and build relationships with partners to secure positive employability outcomes. Strong communication and safeguarding knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience of providing employment support would be ideal.
• Experience of supporting complex cases is essential.
• Excellent communications skills.
• Sound understanding of EDI principles and safeguarding methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Identify tenants' employment and training goals and build confidence.
• Help tenants apply for jobs, including CVs and interview prep.
• Create action plans and track outcomes to meet targets.
• Provide holistic support and maintain engagement with tenants.
• Develop relationships with partners to secure employability outcomes.
• Maintain accurate participant case files for auditing.

What you'll be doing:

• Working with tenants to identify their employment and training goals and building on their interests, helping them to increase their confidence and skills.
• Supporting tenants to apply for job opportunities, including support on CV writing, applying for jobs, and interview skills.
• Supporting tenants to create action plans and agreeing outcomes to meet service targets.
• Providing a holistic support service to tenants, maintaining contact to deliver appropriate support needs and maintaining positive engagement.
• Developing relationships with key partners to secure successful employability outcomes for tenants
• Maintaining accurate case files for participant journey and auditing purposes.
