Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: £28,182 - £29,547 per annum inclusive
Job Type: Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Areas of service delivery: Surrey Heath & Farnham
Please note: This role requires a UK Driving Licence and access to a car. You must be prepared to travel and occasionally work outside office hours as required.
Service delivery covers Surrey and neighboring areas; however, the post holder will primarily cover Surrey Heath & Farnham, with potential support to nearby localities.

We assist individuals with mental health challenges to find paid employment and support them in retaining their jobs when struggling due to mental health issues. We also advise and support employers about mental health in the workplace. This is only possible with dedicated staff like you.
Your role? To help individuals source suitable work placements with local organizations/employers. Daily tasks include providing support, career advice, guidance, and helping clients set recovery and employment goals. You will also offer training in personal and skills development, such as CV writing and interview techniques. Additionally, you will establish and maintain positive links with the Mental Health Integrated Community Service (MHICS), partner organizations, and local employers, with the initiative to develop and promote the service.
You will be responsible for maintaining efficient admin systems to ensure referrals, assessments, and reviews are completed promptly.
Essential skills include a good understanding of mental health issues, excellent motivational, presentation, and listening skills, and a willingness to travel locally and work outside of regular hours as needed.
