This national highly acclaimed specialist law firm is recruiting for 0-5 PQE employment solicitor to join its employment & pensions team in Birmingham.

This employment & pensions team works for a range of organisations focused on making a difference to the people and communities that they work with. Its work ranges from matters which are cutting edge to more routine work which is nonetheless of real importance to the people that they are working with. The variety of work means that there are always opportunities to grow and develop as an employment solicitor.

To give a flavour of the work that you could become involved with, this could include advising on the employment & pensions implications of tendering for a contract to run leisure centres, investigating and responding to appeals against decisions on ill health retirement in the Local Government Pension Scheme, supporting on the employment and pensions aspects of the restructure of a social housing group, advising on changes to pension provision for employees, as well as advising on involved and often emotive employee relations issues.
