Job Description:

A well-established Scottish law firm is recruiting an Employment Solicitor to join its reputable team based in Edinburgh. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a collaborative and client-focused practice advising a diverse mix of employer and individual clients across a wide range of employment law matters.

The successful candidate will advise on day-to-day employment issues including contracts, disciplinaries, grievances, redundancies, and reorganisations, with a particular focus on SME and charity sector clients. You will also act for individual employees, advising on settlement agreements and workplace disputes. The role includes representation in Employment Tribunals for both claimants and respondents, along with corporate support work and opportunities for involvement in business development and training activities.

This position is suited to a solicitor with a minimum of 2 years’ PQE in employment law. Strong technical knowledge, the ability to manage client relationships with professionalism and confidence, and an interest in contributing to team development are essential. Experience supervising junior staff or engaging in networking and marketing initiatives would be highly valued.

The position will initially be office-based, with flexibility for hybrid working considered in due course. Should this role be of interest, please do not hesitate to contact either Teddie or Cameron for an initial and confidential discussion. (Assignment 17358)
