Job summary

Forbes Solicitors LLP seeks an Associate Solicitor to join the Employment team at Gordon House Office in Preston. The role is full-time (36.25 hours) Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm, with the chance to handle a varied Employment caseload and attend Court/Tribunal hearings.

You will provide expert legal advice, manage deadlines, and collaborate with Senior Associates and Partners to deliver optimal client outcomes.

Qualifications

• Be a qualified Solicitor or CILEX with at least 3 years PQE.
• Experience conducting own advocacy/attending courts/tribunals.
• Proven ability to manage own caseload and meet deadlines while generating fees.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied/complex caseload of Employment matters.
• Attend/represent at Court/Tribunal hearings (Unfair dismissal, Discrimination, TUPE, Redundancy).
• Provide expert legal advice and strategic guidance to clients.
• Complete legal tasks accurately within the Solicitor’s area of expertise.
