Employment Solicitor (4+ years PQE) – 3-6 month Fixed-Term Contract

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our client, a leading Top 100 Central London law firm that is seeking an Employment Solicitor on a 3-6 month fixed term contract, on a full-time or part-time basis 4 or 5 days a week.

This role involves supporting high-profile clients on complex workplace issues and advising on employment-related aspects of corporate and real estate transactions. You’ll work closely with the firm’s corporate and property teams on mergers, acquisitions, and more, while also advising an impressive standalone client base in sectors such as finance, media, pharmaceuticals, and leisure.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Providing strategic advice on key employment matters, including TUPE, post-termination restrictions, and partnership issues.
  2. Managing a diverse portfolio of advisory and litigation cases, representing clients at both Employment Tribunals and the High Court.
  3. Supporting corporate and property transactions with guidance on employment matters such as reorganisations, mergers, acquisitions, and cross-border workforce transitions.
  4. Advising clients on day-to-day HR concerns, including grievances, disciplinary actions, and drafting contracts and staff handbooks.

  3. Excellent client service skills and a proven track record in direct client interactions.
