An established industry player is seeking an Employment Solicitor to join a public sector organization on a remote basis. Job description

Sellick Partnership is currently recruiting for an Employment Solicitor to join a public sector organization on a remote basis. The role is expected to last 3-6 months.

As an Employment Lawyer, your responsibilities will include:

  1. Providing advice on a range of non-contentious and, where appropriate, contentious employment matters, including TUPE, pensions, employment contracts, termination issues, disciplinary and grievance procedures, severance, compromise agreements, policies and HR procedures, staff handbooks, redundancies, dismissals, breach of contract claims, maternity and sick pay issues, discrimination issues, health and safety, and Employment Tribunals.
  2. Negotiating, drafting, and interpreting a variety of employment and related agreements and documents.
  3. Collaborating with external solicitors regarding Employment Tribunals and providing necessary assistance or advice.

While local authority experience is desirable, candidates from a private practice background are encouraged to apply.
