Employment Solicitor

Are you a commercially minded and client-focused Employment Solicitor ready to take the next step in your career? Our client, a highly respected Legal 500 firm with offices in Hertfordshire and London, is seeking a pragmatic lawyer to join their expanding Employment team.

This role offers the chance to handle a wide variety of high-quality and complex employment work, both contentious and non-contentious, with clients ranging from SMEs and multinational corporations to senior executives and employees. The successful candidate will work across both the Hertfordshire and London offices, coupled with hybrid working arrangements.

Responsibilities
  • Managing Tribunal claims and disputes on behalf of both employers and employees
  • Advising on disciplinaries, grievances, restrictive covenant breaches, and day-to-day HR issues
  • Drafting and reviewing contracts, handbooks, policies, and procedures
  • Advising on TUPE matters and business reorganisations
  • Negotiating and advising on settlement agreements
About you
  • Employment Solicitor with 3+ years PQE
  • Strong technical training and experience in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining professionalism and calm reassurance for clients
