A respected and forward-thinking law firm based in Sherborne is seeking an Employment Solicitor or Legal Executive to join its growing employment law team. This opportunity is ideal for candidates with up to three years' post-qualification experience who are looking to build their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.

The role requires experience across both contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The successful candidate will be confident managing tribunal claims from start to finish, acting for both claimants and respondents. Advocacy and case management experience would be beneficial.

On the advisory side, the role includes providing employers with strategic and practical guidance on:

  • Disciplinary and dismissal procedures
  • Redundancy and restructuring exercises
  • Enforcement of restrictive covenants
  • Settlement agreements and protected conversations
  • Drafting employment contracts, consultancy agreements, handbooks, and policies

This position would particularly suit someone who enjoys client-facing work and is comfortable engaging in networking and delivering seminars as part of ongoing business development.

The role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the growth of the team and the firm's employment law services, while also supporting your own professional development in a collaborative and well-regarded practice.
