Hybrid working is available, with opportunities to take ownership of client matters and build relationships while progressing within the Manchester employment team.

memployment Solicitor – Manchester

We have an exciting opportunity for an employment solicitor to join a national firm in their Manchester office.

The firm is full service with a progressive and entrepreneurial culture, promoting a good work life balance. Hybrid working is also available.

The role will involve working closely with the Legal 500 recognised employment partner / head of the Manchester employment team, as well as assisting the national employment team on a range of contentious and advisory employment matters. Predominantly respondent matters, as well as high value claimant cases with clients spanning across a variety of sectors - including retail, sports, financial services and media.

This opportunity will also provide one to one mentoring from partners and seniors solicitors, hands on learning and development and the opportunity to take responsibility for your own matters, whilst in turn building and developing your own client relationships and connections. There is also a clear route for progression.

The firm are ideally looking for either an associate or senior associate who has experience with both respondent and high level claimant matters, as well as a focus on providing a high quality of service to clients.
