Sellick Partnership is excited to be working with a Legal 500 ranked firm that is looking for an Employment Solicitor to join their team in Cambridge.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Representing clients in disputes over issues like unfair dismissal, discrimination, or harassment.
  • Advising on the legal process of redundancies, termination, and wrongful dismissal.
  • Providing advice on employee rights, such as holiday pay, sick leave, and working hours.
  • Ensuring compliance with workplace health and safety regulations.
  • Negotiating settlements in cases of disputes or employment-related claims.
  • Advising on handling employee grievances and disciplinary procedures.
  • Helping businesses comply with laws when transferring employees as part of a business sale or restructuring.

The successful candidate:

  • Has 3+ years PQE in employment law.
  • Possesses excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Can manage a busy caseload and work to tight deadlines.
  • Has a proactive and client-focused approach.
