Employment Solicitor - Tribunal Work | Hybrid or Remote | Based in Bristol

An established national law firm is looking for a talented Employment Solicitor or FCILEx to join its Bristol-based Employment team. The role focuses on managing a busy and varied caseload of Employment Tribunal matters-mostly through legal expenses insurance-with opportunities to assist on non-contentious employment work as well.

Whether you're seeking full-time or part-time work, in the office or remotely, this is a flexible and supportive role for someone who enjoys litigation and wants to work with a collaborative, well-regarded team.

What the Role Involves

• Running your own caseload of Employment Tribunal claims from start to finish, including drafting pleadings, witness statements, advising on settlement strategy, and instructing counsel.
• Providing day-to-day employment advice to commercial clients, including drafting contracts, policies, and handbooks.
• Ensuring service-level compliance with insurer partners.
• Using a case management system to manage files efficiently and support accurate billing.
• Contributing to client training and thought leadership where appropriate.

What They're Looking For

• A qualified Solicitor, Barrister or FCILEx with solid experience in employment law, particularly tribunal work.
• Confident managing a busy caseload independently, with support from a knowledgeable and approachable team.
• Commercial, clear-thinking and client-focused, with excellent time management and communication skills.
• Someone with a real interest in both contentious and advisory employment work.
