The Role

As the Employment Law Partner at HR Rely, you will:

Lead and grow the employment law practice, offering expert advice on the full spectrum of employment law matters, including recruitment, handling discipline and grievances, managing employee conflict, and mitigating risks related to equality, diversity, and discrimination claims.
Provide strategic, high-level guidance on complex issues such as redundancy, restructuring, employee performance, and sickness absence management, while advising clients on best practices for handling disability and other sensitive employment issues.
Oversee compliance with data protection regulations, including GDPR and subject access requests, ensuring clients' operations meet legal standards and protect their workforce.
Take a lead role in managing client relationships, acting as the primary point of contact for key clients while building and nurturing strong, long-term partnerships.
Drive business development by identifying new opportunities, expanding the client base, and enhancing HR Rely's visibility in the employment law sector.
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of employment law professionals, fostering a collaborative environment and ensuring continued professional development across the practice.
To Be Successful in This Role, You Will:

Bring at least 7 years of experience in employment law, with significant expertise in handling complex employment matters and a proven ability to provide strategic, business-focused advice to employers.
Be a natural leader with a track record of managing teams, driving business growth, and maintaining high standards of client service.
Have established connections within the employment law and HR communities, with the ability to leverage your network to drive new business and build strong client relationships.
Demonstrate excellent commercial acumen, with a focus on providing practical, results-oriented solutions to clients' workplace challenges.
Possess strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport at all levels of an organization.
