The Role

You will advise high-profile commercial clients, including FTSE 100 companies and financial services firms, on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters. The work is varied and intellectually engaging, and includes:

• Day-to-day employment queries, including disciplinary and grievance matters, maternity/family leave, and working time issues
• Corporate, commercial, and real estate transactions, including business transfers and outsourcing
• Employment tribunal, civil court, and appellate litigation
• Collective matters such as restructuring, redundancies, and TUPE
• Investigations (including regulatory investigations) and strategic compliance projects

You will be part of a market-leading UK Employment team of over 50 lawyers, collaborating on complex, cross-border matters and contributing to the continued growth of the practice in the South West.

The Ideal Candidate

• An employment lawyer with at least 6 years' PQE
• Experienced in both contentious and non-contentious employment law
• Technically strong with sound commercial judgement
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Client-focused, proactive, and committed to team growth and excellence
