Weightmans is continuing to invest in and grow its Legal 500 Tier 1‑ranked Education team, advising universities, FE colleges, academies and education bodies across the UK.

Our Education team is recognised for its deep sector expertise, collegiate culture and consistently high‑quality work. You’ll be trusted with complex, meaningful matters that have real impact across the education landscape, working alongside colleagues who are highly engaged in the sector and committed to excellence.

The team operates as a full‑service education practice, covering governance, student matters, commercial and regulatory work, real estate, construction and employment, pensions and immigration – all with a higher education focus. Acting for more than 25 universities at any one time, we offer the opportunity to work on sophisticated, high‑profile matters that genuinely shape the future of education.

We are experiencing significant growth in the employment advisory space with a spate of recent tender wins at group clients which represents opportunities for someone to lead and grow our employment offerings in this space.
