- Strong background in both claimant and respondent work.

Salary: £80,000 - £150,000 + Bonus (OTE £200k+)
Location: Sheffield (Hybrid Working Available)

The Firm:
This is a well-established, forward-thinking national law firm known for its high-calibre work, collaborative culture and impressive growth trajectory. With a strong footprint across the UK, the firm is now strategically expanding its Employment Law capability at a senior level from its Sheffield base.
The Role:
You will play a key role in leading the development of the Employment practice, handling a varied caseload of both claimant and respondent work, advising a broad client base across the private and public sectors. The successful candidate will bring expertise, drive, and the commercial acumen to grow and shape the offering at both a regional and national level.
Key Responsibilities:
* Advise on the full spectrum of employment law issues (contentious and non-contentious)
* Represent clients in Employment Tribunal proceedings and complex litigation
* Support business development and lead client relationship initiatives
* Mentor junior solicitors and support team leadership
* Contribute to strategic planning and long-term departmental growth
About You:
* Qualified Solicitor (8+ PQE) with a strong background in Employment Law
* Proven track record in both claimant and respondent work
* Experience in managing client relationships at a senior level
* A strong business development mindset and desire to build a team
* Ideally with existing following or strong referral network (not essential)
