Job description

Mizrahi Kroub LLP is seeking an attorney to join its Employment Litigation practice. The attorney will be responsible for managing a full caseload, from intake through resolution. The role will provide immense litigation experience, as you will be working under a team of lawyers.

Job Role/Duties:
  • Handle all phases of assigned caseload through resolution
  • Draft demand letters, complaints, and motions
  • Vigorous representation of clients throughout the litigation process
  • Attend court hearings and conferences
  • Prepare and respond to discovery and appear at depositions
  • Participate in settlement efforts, including through mediation and settlement conferences
Qualifications:
  • Admitted to the NY State Bar
  • 3-8 years of experience litigating cases under the following statutes:
    • Title VII of the Civil Rights Act
    • The New York State Human Rights Law
    • The New York City Human Rights Law
    • Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA)
    • New York Labor Law (NYLL)
