Employment Lawyer / Senior Lawyer
Overview
We are seeking to recruit an employment lawyer for the Employment, Education and Adults social care team at HB Public Law (HBPL). You will undertake varied, high-quality work with like-minded and supportive colleagues who are committed to public service and excellent client care.
HB Public Law is one of the country’s leading shared local authority legal practices between several Northwest London and out-of-London boroughs. It is Lexcel accredited, and we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality service. Staff are employed by Harrow Council but work for various public sector clients.
About You
The successful candidate will be required to manage a full caseload dealing with employment law matters, providing advice, and handling employment tribunal claims. There is also an opportunity to work on education law matters.
You will be expected to take on a caseload from the outset. We will consider less experienced candidates with the right personal qualities and excellent client care skills who can grow into the role. Candidates from both the public and private sectors are encouraged to apply, as our current staff come from both backgrounds.
The role is a career graded post, encompassing grades G10, G11, and MG1. Internal applications for advancement are considered annually.
