Job summary

CRA Consulting are recruiting an experienced Employment Lawyer for a West Yorkshire local authority on a 6-month locum contract. You will provide advice across a varied employment caseload and support HR and senior stakeholders.

The ideal candidate is a qualified solicitor, barrister or legal executive with strong employment law knowledge. Local authority experience is desirable but not essential, and the role offers hybrid or fully remote working options.

• Able to manage a caseload independently.

Employment Lawyer - Local Authority

West Yorkshire 6-Month Locum Contract £50-£65 per hour Hybrid/Remote

CRA Consulting are currently working with a local authority based in West Yorkshire who are looking to appoint an experienced Employment Lawyer on a 6-month locum contract.

The successful candidate will join an established legal team, providing advice across a varied employment caseload and supporting the Council on a range of employment matters.

The Role:

• Providing legal advice across a range of employment law matters
• Managing a varied caseload from instruction through to resolution
• Advising on contentious and non-contentious employment issues
• Working closely with HR teams and senior stakeholders
• Providing clear, practical and commercially focused legal advice
