Specialist in locum recruitment within the private legal sector throughout the North

Location: Leeds City Centre

About the job: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Employment Lawyer to join a growing Employment Law team. The role has great potential for development and progression for an individual looking to solidify their technical ability and gain further grounding in Employment.

The successful candidates will be working both autonomously and as part of a team and will gain experience in a range of Employment disciplines, supporting more senior solicitors in complex cases.

The firm allow for a flexible hybrid working arrangement and are willing to accommodate those with personal commitments. In addition, a wide range of company benefits are on offer, such as private pension, private healthcare scheme, group income protection, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advising, representing and supporting clients over a range of Employment disciplines including but not limited to: Unfair dismissal, Discrimination, TUPE and Whistleblowing
• Delegation and supervision of tasks to paralegals, trainee solicitors, secretaries and support staff
• Conduct of claims within the relevant legal framework: civil court, employment tribunal, criminal court, regulatory etc.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Qualified Solicitor in England and Wales (or relevant jurisdiction), or CILEX qualified
• 2+ years PQE (Post-Qualified Experience)
• Strong technical knowledge of legal procedures
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Ability to manage time effectively and work under pressure
• Commercial awareness and client-focused approach

Salary: Subject to prior experience up to £50,000 per annum
